How to Fix a Google Pixel 5a Bootloader Failed

If you have a pixel 5a and the bootloader is locked, there are still a few things that can be done to fix it. Some of them include rooting and installing custom recoveries like TWRP.

First, you need to enable Developer Options on your device. This can be done by heading to Settings > System -> About Phone and tapping on Build Number 7 times.

Unable to boot into recovery

When your Android device is having problems with glitches, slowdowns or other issues, you should try to use recovery mode to get a fresh start. You can use this method to remove viruses and other issues that are causing your phone to behave oddly.

However, if the first attempt does not work, you might have to try a few different things before you find a solution that works for your device. This includes using the device’s power button to force restart it, factory resetting it or manually updating the OS on it.

Another common fix for this problem is to root your Google Pixel 5a. This will enable you to install custom ROMs, unlock bootloaders, and more.

But before you can root your Pixel, you must first unlock the bootloader. This is a process that requires a computer and a USB data cable. You must also make sure that you have a PC that supports USB debugging and is running the latest version of Windows.

Once your computer has these requirements, you can download a tool called ADB Fastboot to unlock your Pixel’s bootloader. After that, you’ll have to connect your device with the computer using a USB data cable and follow a series of instructions on your computer to complete the process.

Next, you’ll need to install a program called Magisk. This tool allows you to root your device, install Xposed modules and more. You can also flash a custom ROM, overclock and underclock your device, wipe cache, remove bloatware, and more.

Before you begin, make sure to fully charge your Pixel and remove all installed apps that are causing problems. If you have an old battery in your phone, then it might be causing the error, so remove and replace it with a new one.

Once the device is unlocked, you’ll have full control over your Pixel. You can then use a tool like Magisk Manager to root your Pixel 5a and install custom ROMs. You can even flash a custom kernel, too. But you’ll have to be careful with this process, as it can potentially damage your phone.

Black screen

When you try to reboot your Pixel device, it displays a black screen. This usually happens when there is a hardware or software fault with the operating system. If this is the case, it can be fixed easily by following a few steps.

First of all, you need to check whether there is any damage on the phone’s screen. If the screen is cracked or damaged, you may have to replace it. If this is not the case, there are a few things you can do to get your Google Pixel back on track.

If your Google Pixel screen is black, it is possible that there is a loose connection between the LCD and the motherboard. If this is the case, you should take your phone to a repair center and they will firmly reset the link between the LCD and the motherboard.

Another possibility is that you have recently installed an incompatible app on your Pixel. The incompatible apps can cause the phone to display a black screen. If you have recently installed a third-party app, uninstall it in Safe Mode to see if it is the cause of your black screen.

To boot your device into Safe Mode, press and hold the power button until the words “Safe Mode” appear on your screen. Once you enter Safe Mode, you can delete the incompatible apps that are causing your Google Pixel to show a black screen.

Alternatively, you can try a factory reset to reinstall the operating system on your Google Pixel. This will wipe your device of all personal data and will reinstall the Android OS.

Once you’ve completed the factory reset, make sure you backup your device before you attempt to start it up again. This will ensure that you don’t lose any of your valuable data or photos.

There are also other options you can try to fix the problem, including restoring your device’s original factory ROM, flashing a new version of Android, and so on. However, these methods can be tricky and risky. These methods can also lead to a permanent nullification of your warranty.

Unable to connect to PC

If your Google Pixel 5a bootloader failed, you may be unable to connect your device to your PC. This can happen for several reasons, including a failed firmware update or software problem. However, there are a few ways to fix this error.

Firstly, you need to make sure that you have Developer Options enabled on your Pixel. This is easy to do by heading to Settings > About Phone, then taping on Build number seven times. After that, you need to head back to Settings > System and then tap on Advanced > Developer Options.

Next, you need to make sure that USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking are enabled on your device. This is necessary to carry out the bootloader unlocking process.

Once you have these settings enabled on your Pixel, you should be able to successfully connect it to your PC and carry out the bootloader unlocking procedure. This is a relatively simple process that will only take a few seconds to complete, but please be aware that this will wipe all your data from the device.

You will need to connect your Google Pixel to your PC using a USB cable and ensure that you have the correct drivers installed on the PC. Then, you should open Command Prompt (CMD) on the PC and enter the following commands:

After completing the above commands, your Pixel will be connected to your computer and a random serial number will appear on your screen. Depending on your device, you may get a confirmation message at this point of time.

Once the above steps have been completed, your Pixel will be able to boot into fastboot mode. This is the mode where you will be able to carry out the OTA sideloading process.

To do this, you need to ensure that you have the very latest OTA file for your Pixel device. This is important because if you sideload a non-approved file, you could brick your device or cause other issues. Fortunately, Google hosts all of the official builds for each Pixel on its dedicated developer site.

Unable to boot into fastboot mode

Fastboot is a diagnostic tool for Android that lets you access the device’s partitions to flash firmware, unlock the bootloader, or install a custom recovery. It’s most commonly used to update a custom recovery like ClockworkMod, but it can also be used for other things, such as rooting your phone.

To use fastboot mode, you need a USB-connected Android device. Typically, you can enter the mode by pressing the Volume Down + Power keys at the same time for about two seconds, but it may vary depending on your device.

If you’re unable to enter fastboot mode, you can try rebooting your device into the bootloader mode using ADB commands. This method requires an Android device connected to a computer via USB and can be done with either an emulated device or a real one.

The first step is to get a working ADB setup and allow USB debugging on your device. This can be achieved by downloading Platform-Tools & Google USB Drivers package from Android SDK and setting it up on your system.

Next, you can open a command prompt on your PC and type an ADB command to boot your device into fastboot mode. This will be the easiest solution, and it doesn’t require you to lose any data in the process.

Another method is to use a third-party ADB and fastboot tool. This tool is available for most computers, and it’s a great way to start playing around with Android without having to worry about losing any data.

Finally, you can try to exit fastboot mode by restarting your device with the help of a hardware key. This works only on devices that have a removable battery, and it’s an effective and quick fix.

If you want to get a little more hands-on, you can always remove your device’s battery and then insert it again. This method will ensure that you don’t lose any data, and it’s a good way to test the functionality of the device before attempting any other steps. If you still can’t find a solution, you can contact the manufacturer to get assistance.
